Market Research Analyst

Job Summary

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform our marketing strategies and decisions. This role involves conducting market research studies, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, and providing actionable insights to support business development and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather relevant data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits.
  2. Analyze data using statistical software to identify market trends, forecast market movements, and understand the competitive landscape.
  3. Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for the marketing team and other stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop, evaluate, and optimize marketing campaigns and strategies based on research findings.
  5. Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
  6. Design and implement surveys, questionnaires, polls, and other data collection methods.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and research methodologies to ensure best practices in research and analysis.
  8. Work closely with other departments to understand business objectives and research needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a market research analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing and sales industry, with an emphasis on digital marketing and targeted advertising.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
