Canada’s Walk of Fame marked its 25th anniversary with a celebration in style and at scale. From former prime ministers to professional athletes, nearly 1,500 global icons with roots in Canada came to welcome the 2023 inductees.

HWO, in partnership with e=mc2 events, was honoured to be entrusted with transforming the event registration experience, enhancing efficiency and security with our innovative platform - AutoPilot. Our goal was to simply streamline the celebration of Canadian excellence, ensuring a seamless, memorable event for all attendees.

Built upon a foundation of lifelong relationships, spreadsheets, and call logs, the guest management process at Canada's Walk of Fame was in pressing need of modernization. They sought an upgrade to deliver a secure, efficient experience for both administrators and attendees, accommodating users with a broad range of technical abilities. Additionally, the new system would need to empower administrators with capabilities such as supporting over 20 ticket types, issuing complimentary tickets, modifying ticket details, capturing organizational information from guests, facilitating split payments across multiple purchases, and managing event seating—all in real-time.

We utilized our comprehensive platform, AutoPilot, which is equipped with advanced features including e-commerce capabilities, ticketing and registration systems, table management, issuance of complimentary tickets, encrypted QR code generation and scanning, along with real-time analytics. Moreover, we offered additional support through onsite staff training and administration, complemented by concierge-style customer service, to streamline operations and deliver an elevated, white-glove service experience to attendees.

Through the strategic implementation of AutoPilot, coupled with comprehensive administrative services, we successfully provided a secure and efficient experience for both administrators and attendees, catering to a wide spectrum of technical proficiencies during the 25th anniversary of Canada’s Walk of Fame. The use of real-time data and advanced encryption significantly mitigated fraudulent access attempts, ensuring that distinguished guests could celebrate the milestone securely.
